Mary Lou Retton competes on the balance beam during the 1984 Summer Olympics at Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles. Retton would win five medals at the 1984 Games - one gold (All-Around), two silver (Team, Vault) and two bronze (Uneven bars, Floor).
