Furniture Shopping

When my husband moved in to my East Village apartment, he frequently expressed his distaste for the aesthetic of my Jennifer Convertibles pull-out sofa and the artwork I had acquired during my worldly travels. He’s an architect who likes modern lines, clean white walls and prizes design over comfort.

Because of this, I wasn’t sure how our furniture shopping was going to pan out in Mendoza. It was a first for us. Coincidentally, our tastes overlapped significantly and we settled on a couch we both loved and chairs that are prettier to look at than sit in.

Now, I just need to figure out how I am going to keep everything clean in this dust bowl of a city.
