But seriously isn’t the whole idea of the Olympics about amateurs and the purity of sport. Even if that died a long time ago letting the smaller countries in is a way of reflecting this. The British ski team has literally no money and the best place to ski is inside but they are still there so why not support smaller countries…and John Candy worked really hard training those guys.
