hey ladies (+ gents who care about women). here’s a summary of some important new required changes to your health insurance policies, c/o the affordable care act. as long as you’re not employed by a religious organization – which includes organizations like churches and possibly (according to at least one judge) small, family-owned businesses that are run according to the family’s faith but excludes organizations like hospitals that receive funding from religious organizations – your insurance company will be required to provide the above benefits at the beginning/renewal of your health insurance plan.
