I will never understand this. No other race does this with biracial ppl. A white man will have a child with a black woman and call HIS child black. I strongly dislike how my identity is used as an umbrella. One drop equals whole is an old slave law. It was to distinguish the ppl who were “tainted” with negro blood. Why can’t you just be what you are, OF MIXED RACE OR BIRACIAL? What automatically makes you black? And I’m over this “good black” and “bad black”. Black is only beautiful when ur biracial. Black women are only winning, the more “exotic” we can make ourselves seem. We can only be accepted when when our skin is lighter than a paper bag, and our curl pattern is loose.
