Nowhere Near The End, We’ve Merely Just Begun
Not even a full 48 hours have gone by and I’m in tears. Tears of joy, happiness, emptiness…Where’s the noise, where are the fellows?! No announcements?
Never in a million years would I have imagined to gain such a strong bond with 17 individuals over the course of 10 weeks. Never would I have imagined to be blessed with such an awesome experience to tackle something near and dear to my heart…on an international level. Never in a million years would I have imagined to be blessed with so many personalities from all around the world that are about to be the world’s biggest game changers within the next few months/years.
I don’t think I can fully comprehend everything that has happened/changed in my life over the last 10 weeks just yet BUUUUT… I can say that I have been blessed to meet some of the most driven, fearless, and ambitious people the world has to offer. As we return back to our home countries, I pray that we never return back to the normal lives we were living before April 27, 2014. I pray that we never forget to wish each other a happy birthday (although I’m quite jealous that I won’t get a handmade card with all of your signatures with a grand party to follow). I pray that we never forget the inside jokes we made with each other. From the heavily stressful moments and relaxed hang out sessions; you are all awesome and will forever be in my heart. Thank you for my many firsts …first beer, first time opening a wine bottle, cheek kisses, pain au chocolat and not to mention GREENPEACE.
Keep striving, keep winning, keep on the “sustainable” fight and don’t forget to remember me *awkward pose* I LOVE YOU WORLD KIDS!
