Massive Ibiza line-up with a summer-long festival of epic proportions. Gatecrasher takes over Wednesday nights in August at the world’s largest nightclub PRIVILEGE with a selection of electronic music’s most exciting global pioneers PAUL OAKENFOLD, DASH BERLIN, ROGER SHAH and MARCO V as weekly residents from the 3rd to the 31st of August 2011.

Paul Oakenfold
Paul Oakenfold is one of the true legends of dance music and remains one of the leading forces in the global music scene today.

Since pioneering the genre in Ibiza back in 1987, Paul has remained one of the scene’s leading ambassadors.  His high profile work with the likes of Madonna, U2 and The Happy Mondays has made him a household name, but it’s his legendary DJ sets to many millions of fans across the globe that have cemented his position as one of the most respected names on the scene.

A life-changing break to Ibiza back in 1987 saw Paul discovering Balearic music in clubs such as Amnesia.  Inspired, he took those sounds back to the UK.  In the early 90’s Perfecto Records was born, releasing countless high profile releases and remixes in its path.  Holding residencies at Amnesia and Pacha in Ibiza, Paul also opened Ministry Of Sound in London and was their first resident.   

Dash Berlin
Dash Berlin has repeatedly been called ‘the fastest rising artist in Dance Music ’ and deservedly so according to his ever-growing global fan base and the acclaimed IDMA’s who recently nominated the ‘Flying Dutchman’ as ‘Best European DJ’ among some of the biggest names in dance music. After the international success of his first official mix compilation Dash decided to institutionalize his ‘United Destination’ brand as an annual concept. And the all-new ‘United Destination 2011’ certainly makes a convincing case for Dash Berlin, not only as a successful dance artist, but also as a truly skilled DJ, that keeps delivering beyond the hype that surrounds his energetic person.

MARCO V
Joining Oakenfold is fellow superstar DJ and Trance legend – Marco V, one of the most inventive, diverse and creative electronic music minds today. Through his very first releases he became the architect of tech-trance; a sound that went on to become a fully-fledged electronic music phenomena. Continually modifying and fine-tuning his style ever since, he has gone on to create numerous leading-edge dance classics - ‘Godd’, ‘Indicator’, ‘Echnalava’, ‘More Than A Life Away’ & ‘Coma Aid’ numbered among them. Behind the decks he has smashed nights in all the world’s farthest corners, played a near uncountable number of tent-pole events for the scene’s flagship club & festival brands. As a result of which he has spent the last 7 consecutive years inside the ranks of DJ Magazine’s Top 50. Into 2011 and Marco continues to innovate and push at the boundary edges including the launch of T.A.O. The Art Of) - his new multimedia concept. The “T.A.O. Sound” will cause a blistering heat on its debut Gatecrasher event with a DJ set full of Marco’s latest floorbombs and old-time favourite party tracks supported with an impressive light and video show!!

ROGER SHAH
Joining the duo will also be top DJ Roger Shah, clad in his trademark white, he is impossible to miss or mistake. Shah comes to the UK fresh from his success at Gatecrasher’s Global SoundSytem in Indonisia. Everyone knows Roger Shah. If not for his Balearic Trance music, then for his huge club hits like “Going Wrong” with Armin van Buuren and Chris Jones. On stage, clad in his trademark white, he is impossible to miss or mistake. Wireless keyboard in one hand, an ever-ready clutch of his own productions in the other, his live crowd-interactive performances have brought a new apex experience for club and festival goers worldwide. In 2010 this unequalled approach was reflected in DJ Magazine’s Top 100 chart, where he moved up from his ‘08

Marcel Woods
Marcel’s mind-blowing mix of raw and energetic dance music. Dance floors and festivals have fallen before him in swift succession. Global Gathering, Mysteryland, Dance Valley, Trance Energy, Gatecrasher Summer Sound System, Escape Into The Park, Planet Love and Sanctuary just in one summer run! And possibly more than anything else underlining Marcel’s diverse nature, 2008 saw
him become the only DJ ever to play the White AND Black Edition Sensation parties in one season.

Sean Tyas
A New York native now residing in Switzerland, Sean Tyas is one of the brightest new star to emerge in the trance scene in recent years years. He first broke onto the scene when Sander van Doorn selected him winner of the ‘Punk’d’ remix competition, leading to the Discover label to sign up his early releases such as 'Lift’ which captured the imagination of the trance community and getting massive playlist support from the likes of Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Paul van Dyk, Above & Beyond and Judge Jules.
