Exposing Mother Teresa??? See the hidden truth and why she was a fraud!

Many have seen the following HITCHSLAP:

“[Mother Teresa] was not a friend of the poor. She was a friend of poverty. She said that suffering was a gift from God. She spent her life opposing the only known cure for poverty, which is the empowerment of women and the emancipation of them from a livestock version of compulsory reproduction.”  — Christopher Hitchens

Many are offended by it and feel it is unwarranted. After all:

Mother Teresa won about 126 awards in her life time, including the Nobel Peace Prize, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and the Bharat Ratna, which is India’s highest civilian award. Mother Teresa had opened 517 missions in more than 100 countries. Also, she is credited for helping AIDS victims!

Mother Teresa: anything but a saint…

http://www.nouvelles.umontreal.ca/udem-news/news/20130301-mother-teresa-anything-but-a-saint.html

French study says that Mother Teresa wasn’t so saintly.

In a study published in Religieuses, a French-language journal of studies in religion and sciences, they suggest the nun’s approach to caring for the sick was to glorify human suffering instead of relieving it.

The study was conducted by Serge Larivée, Department of psychoeducation, University of Montreal, Carole Sénéchal, Faculty of Education, University of Ottawa, and Geneviève Chénard, Department of psychoeducation, University of Montreal.

Debunking another contemporary myth: New exposé of Mother Teresa shows that she and the Vatican were even worse than we thought

http://www.sott.net/article/263693-Debunking-another-contemporary-myth-New-expose-of-Mother-Teresa-shows-that-she-and-the-Vatican-were-even-worse-than-we-thought

Let’s find out the truth.  Let’s hear Mother Teresa’s religious-infected thoughts, from her very mouth:

“I think the world is being much helped by the suffering of the poor people” -Mother Teresa

“Suffering in and of itself is useless, but suffering that is shared with the passion of Christ is a wonderful gift and a sign of love. Christ’s suffering proved to be a gift, the greatest gift of love, because through his suffering our sins were atoned for. Suffering, pains sorrow, humiliation, feelings of loneliness, are nothing but the kiss of Jesus, a sign that you have come so close that He can kiss you.”

-Mother Teresa from the book “No Greater Love”

Suffering in itself is nothing; but suffering shared with Christ’s Passion is a wonderful gift. Man’s most beautiful gift is that he can share in the Passion of Christ. Yes, a gift and a sign of His love; because this is how His Father proved that He loved the world—by giving His Son to die for us. (The Co-Worker Newsletter, no. 27)

Intercession and innocent suffering

I often wonder that if innocent people did not suffer so much what would happen to the world? They are the ones who are interceding the whole time. Their innocence is so pleasing to God. By accepting suffering, they intercede for us. (Her People and Her Work, 142)

Only by being one with us has He redeemed us. We are allowed to do the same; all the desolation of the poor people, not only their material poverty, but their spiritual destitution must be redeemed, and we must share it, for only by being with them can we redeem them, that is by bringing God into their lives and bringing them to God. (Life in the Spirit, 62)

Today in young people of the world, Jesus lives His Passion, in the suffering, in the hungry, the handicapped young people—–in that child who eats a piece of bread crumb by crumb, because when that piece of bread is finished, there will be no more and hunger will come again.(Such a Vision of the Street, 282—283)

Today the passion of Christ is being relived in the lives of those who suffer.

To accept that suffering is a gift of God. Suffering is not a punishment. God does not punish. Suffering is a gift—–though, like all gifts, it depends on how we receive it. And that is why we need a pure heart—to see the hand of God, to feel the hand of God, to recognize the gift of God in our suffering.

Suffering is not a punishment. Jesus does not punish. Suffering is a sign—–a sign that we have come so close to Jesus on the cross, that He can kiss us, show that He is in love with us, by giving us an opportunity to share in His passion.

In our Home for the Dying it is so beautiful to see people who are joyful, people who are lovable, people who are at peace, in spite of terrible suffering.

Suffering is not a punishment not a fruit of sin, it is a gift of God. He allows us to share in His suffering and to make up for the sins of the world. (Book “The Best Gift is Love”)

Here is her true story: Shattering the Myth of Mother Teresa

http://www.daylightatheism.org/2008/05/mother-teresa.html

Mother Teresa Was a Fraud

Like a man who slays a son in his father’s presence is he who offers sacrifice from the possessions of the poor.— Sirach 34:18-22

As a result, she publicly supported policies that led directly to greater suffering among the people she had pledged to help, discouraging the use of prophylactics that could have prevented unwanted pregnancies and slowed the spread of AIDS and other STDs.

Mother Teresa’s Homes of the Dying served only to warehouse the sick in unsanitary conditions until they were too weak to protest against baptism into the Catholic faith.

Mother Teresa faced criticism in 1994 when Dr. Robin Fox, editor of The Lancet, a well-regarded medical journal out of the UK, conducted an investigation into the quality of medical care at her home of the dying in Calcutta.

He was especially disturbed by the sisters’ lack of medical training, which made it hard for them to distinguish between curable and incurable diseases. People who could be treated were essentially warehoused with those dying of terminal cancer or even of contagious diseases. Moreover, pain management was non-existent.

Rather than making improvements, however, the Missionaries of Charity allowed their standards to slip even further.

In an August 2005 article for the New Statesman, reporter Donal MacIntyre laid bare the truth about how care homes run by Mother Teresa’s order were little more than cesspools where people with disabilities were held captive:

“Earlier in the day, young international volunteers had giggled as one told how a young boy had peed on her while strapped to a bed. I had already been told of an older disturbed woman tied to a tree at another Missionaries of Charity home. At the orphanage, few of the volunteers batted an eyelid at disabled children being tied up. They were too intoxicated with the myth of Mother Teresa and drunk on their own philanthropy to see that such treatment of children was inhumane and degrading.” (“The Squalid Truth behind the Legacy of Mother Teresa”)

Mother Theresa took donations meant for hospitals and sent it to the Vatican, leaving patients to suffer

http://www.vaticancrimes.us/2013/08/mother-theresa-took-donations-meant-for.html

She was not poor, she was rich. Million dollar scandal:

Charles Keating, who stole in excess of $252 million in the Savings and Loan scandal of the 1980s, donated $1.25 million of his loot to Mother Teresa.

In her visit to Haiti, she made an endorsement of the Duvaliers; the source of much deprivation of the poor in Haiti. Also, her acceptance of stolen money from Charles Keating, “now serving a ten-year sentence for his part in the savings and loan scandal.” Keating, a “Catholic fundamentalist”, gave Mother Teresa one and a quarter million dollars and “the use of his private jet.” During the course of Keating’s trial, Mother Teresa wrote Judge Ito asking clemency and asked Ito “to do what Jesus would do.”

One of the prosecutors in the trial wrote her telling her “of 17,000 individuals from whom Mr. Keating stole $252,000,000.” He added, “You urge Judge Ito to look into his heart–as he sentences Charles Keating–and do what Jesus would do. I submit the same challenge to you. Ask yourself what Jesus would do if he were given the fruits of a crime; what Jesus would do if he were in possession of money that had been stolen; what Jesus would do if he were being exploited by a thief to ease his conscience.” The prosecutor asked her to return the money, and offered to put her “in direct contact with the rightful owners of the property now in your possession.” This supposed paragon of virtue never replied to his letter.

No one knows what happens to the millions of dollars Mother Teresa receives. There is no accounting and no evidence that she has built a hospital or orphanage that reflects modern health and sanitary conditions.

Mother Teresa: Where Are Her Millions?

Mother Teresa died some years ago but donations still flow in to her Missionaries of Charity like to no other cause

All over the world admirers and supporters of the Nobel Prize winner believe that her organisation is particularly active in the fight against poverty. “All lies,” says Aroup Chatterjee

“No matter where I search, I only find lies. For example the lies about schools. Mother T has often stated that she runs a school in Calcutta for more than 5000 children. 5000 children! — that would have to be a huge school, one of the biggest in all of India. But where is this school? I have never found it, nor do I know anybody who has seen it!” says Chatterjee.

Perhaps the most lucrative branch of the organisation is the “Holy Ghost” House in New York’s Bronx.

“Every night around 25 sisters had to spend many hours preparing receipts for donations. It was a conveyor belt process: some sisters typed, others made lists of the amounts, stuffed letters into envelopes, or sorted the cheques. Values were between $5 and $100.000. Donors often dropped their envelopes filled with money at the door. Before Christmas the flow of donations was often totally out of control. The postman brought sackfuls of letters — cheques for $50000 were no rarity.” ~Sister Virgin

It is estimated that worldwide they collected at least $100 million per year — and that has been going on for many many years.

While the income is utter secret, the expenditures are equally mysterious.

Below, Matt Cherry, executive director of the Council for Secular Humanism, interviews Christopher Hitchens about his book The Missionary Position: Mother Teresa in Theory and Practice (Verso, 1995) and his television program, which strongly criticized Mother Teresa. The interview recapitulates the most devastating critiques of Mother Teresa ever made. It also gives a very telling account by a leading journalist into the U.S. media’s great reluctance to criticize religion and religious leaders.

Flashback: Mother Teresa: ‘Greatest Destroyer of Peace Today is Abortion’

http://cnsnews.com/commentary/michael-w-chapman/flashback-mother-teresa-greatest-destroyer-peace-today-abortion

Mother Teresa is yet another example of the church re-writing history. There are thousands of websites praising her; very few show the truth!

Since her death, Mother Teresa has progressed rapidly along the steps towards sainthood, currently having reached the stage of having been beatified.

The Road to Official Sainthood

The beatification of Mother Teresa was conducted Oct. 19, 2003 by Pope John Paul II. Many believe Blessed Mother Teresa will be named a saint of the Catholic Church someday, and her beatification is the latest step in that path to sainthood.

http://www.americancatholic.org/features/teresa/sainthood.asp

~In conclusion:

‎"[Mother Teresa] She enjoyed thousands of people dropping dead of starvation, dehydration and common curable illnesses, all around her feet! She only cared about converting people to Christianity. She was one of world’s greatest religious sadists; addicted to pain, suffering and watching death. She deserves no honors.“
