We have faith and belief. We are believers while religious people are the non-believers.

You claim that I believe in nothing because I do not subscribe to your religion?

The truth is that religions are lies. Their specific man-dreamed gods do not exist. Specific gods can be disproven by the very religions and scriptures that define them. If you believe in something that does not exist, you believe in nothing. I believe in truth and reality. I am the believer. Religious people are the non-believers.

The religious, invented their fairy tales and then they gave us a negative label (non-believers) to make us look bad and non-credible. I refuse to accept their dictation of who I am. Opposing fraud will not earn me a smeared reputation. Their fraud will not define me. Semantics are very important. Opposers of religion have never fought down to semantics and have always been on the receiving end of character assassination.

Belief, religious belief, faith and religious faith are all separate words with separate meanings. The words “belief” and “faith” have been hijacked by followers and are not solely about religion or gods. In general terms, faith and belief are much different from religious faith/belief or AKA blind faith.

Faith is a confident trust in someone or something.

A belief is something one accepts as true or real. It is a firmly held opinion. A belief is a view.

I could not have faith or belief in something without evidence. My faith and belief requires evidence to have trust and confidence in it.

I believe and have faith in many things that are true. I believe and have faith in my love for my family. I have faith that the sun will rise tomorrow. I have faith in myself. I have faith in my partner.

I could never have faith in something without prior evidence. I know that organized religions are fraud because I’ve spent over 20 years studying them. Faith or a confident trust is not needed in this case. It is a proven fact and is now a knowledge that I have.

Many religious people try to make nonreligious people appear religious by claiming that their knowledge is merely belief or faith. Of course, most religious people are unaware of the secular meanings of those words and why neither is needed to know the fraud of their religions.

Why do religious people have faith in something totally unreliable? Why do so many trust criminal religious leaders? How can religious people ignore the recorded history of their religions? How can they claim faith without evidence? How can they not research the scriptures that define their beliefs?

My faith could never be blind. Blindness would contradict my faith. Religious faith would contradict my knowledge.

Belief and faith can be part of the life of any Skeptic, Atheist, Free-Thinker, Free From Religion Person, etc. You will not be confused with religious followers. Do not be afraid of those words.
