right, you guys. this is a scott garnham appreciation post for beginners (or anyone who loves scott and wants to go over some highlights)
this fantastic man you see above (omfg what a qt) is scott garnham. he’s mostly known for his time at queen’s theatre as a cast member of les misérables, but i am also told that he played a spaniard with shoddy english-speaking skills in the UK tour of never forget. versatile fellow, scott.
in any case, scott was a member of the ensemble of les misérables from 2010-2012 (feuilly’s costume looked awfully good on him) and covered both marius and enjolras. you can find bootlegs of his performances as either here and here. let us not speak of how he was never principal enjolras.
he is also a very, very engaging performer in his own right with tremendous talent and a terrific sense of humor. if you’re interested, a lovely tumblr user uploaded an audio of scott’s speckulation acoustic sessions cabaret that can be found here.
this is his twitter, so go follow him immediately.
okay
now for some videos
the ever fantastic “self indulgent ballad“
“butter outta cream” with hadders
the classic “twelve days of les mis“ with chris keys, hadders, and craig mather
while we’re on christmas, here’s scott singing “what are you doing new year’s eve”
“all i ask of you” with lisa-anne wood wow help scott as raoul come on you can’t do this to me
one of my favorites, in which scott tries to perform “it’s my life“ by bon jovi.
you should hear him belt in this performance of “beyond the door” like WOW scott you are too talented tell me again why you weren’t principal enjolras (still not over it tbh)
in case you can’t be bothered to download the boot of scott as marius, here is an audio of his “empty chairs at empty tables“
we all love scott (if you’re still clicking on links, i’m thinking you’re at least a little fond of him) and we probably all love killian, so here’s a bit of both from scott’s most recent cabaret singing a really funny take that medley!
from the same cabaret, here is scott and the endlessly talented simon bailey singing “open arms” from journey!
and i know you’ve all been waiting for this (no, probably not, but you’re getting it anyway)… scott and craig mather with a rather interesting take on “empty chairs at empty tables”!!
okay and as a bonus
here is jeff nicholson and scott as the gaytoons, mocking ramin and hadley. omfg they are just so pleased with themselves, the idiots
here is scott and craig mather (whoops don’t get me started on the friendship that is scraig matham) singing their interval song between acts wow qts
and here is the brilliant video for west end eurovision 2012, which i believe was the brainchild of scott and adam linstead (correct me if i’m wrong)
in conclusion
if you do not love scott garnham
you are wrong and should begin to love him immediately
