1. He was a theoretical physicist and a professor at The University of California,Berkley.
2. His friend’s claimed he had self destructive tendencies and had moments of deep depression. He once told his brother ” I need physics more than friends”.
3. He once stated that “physics and desert country” were his “two great loves”. He bought a ranch in New Mexico and called it “Perro Caliente”.(Hot Dog in English)
4. He worked on the first atomic bomb (Manhattan Project) and later recalled how he felt after the expolsion.The first words that came to his mind were from the Bhagavad Gita: “Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.” (The Bhagavad Gita is what shaped much of his philosophy on life.)
5. He feel into a coma due to throat cancer and died on February 18,1967.
