The Use of Wearable Tech
Many have said, that from a consumer standpoint, wearable technology will not be a much further leap in user interaction with the digital beyond voice control or a hands free system, which is true and shouldn’t be discounted. But, as this Nashville company is proving, is that the glasses can much further use in the business sector, not used for social media but things like safety and durability.
For this company, they are giving their workers digital glasses that help them do their jobs more safety as the glasses are able to take on tasks where the workers would usually have to switch their attention.
This is not to say that the future of wearable technology is only in the business sector but to see what the tech can be used for helps us innovate new ways for us to use it in our day to day lives, identifying needs and uses in ways nobody thought was possible or relevant.
