Just curious, In an American context, how do you define half-naked? Also do you think all American women dress this way?

Great question, and thank you for posing it! I think even within an American context there are different definitions of “nakedness.” For example, the way a person dresses at the beach is not the way a person would dress at a restaurant or at work. Also, different sub-cultures within America would also have different definitions.
Secondly, I do not think that all American women dress this way. American women are diverse in their dress and there are many women (Christian, Jewish, Atheist, etc.) who prefer more covering forms of clothing. Americans are too diverse a people to label with such a generalization.
