NEW MUSIC: Moko - Your Love.

From her incredible look (I mean, have pigtails ever looked this fabulous?!) and amazing dance moves, to her rich and mesmerizing vocals, Moko is absolutely flawless in this video for her Chase & Status-produced 90s dance music-sounding single Your Love.

The 22-year-old singer with a voice that sounds beyond her years was born Diane Nadia Adu-Gyamfi in London. She released her debut EP Black in 2013 and there’s no denying the heavy trip-hop influence on her four-track effort. If the year was 1991 instead of 2013, I’m pretty sure Massive Attack would have featured her on their iconic Blue Linesalbum that produced one of my favourite songs of all time. 

But the song that led to Moko’s rise in the UK was her feature on Chase & Status’ song Count on Methat shot to number one on the UK Dance charts and reached the number five position on the UK singles chart back in September 2013.

Since then, it’s all been uphill for Moko and I’m so eager to hear more from her.

This girl is going places.
