  1. Day 04 - Your views on religion

    I’m a Catholic and I love being one. Though many questions the Roman Catholic I still believe in my religion. For me religion help us to have a closer relationship with the Supreme Being. It allows us to know Him deeper through the sacraments and rituals we practice. 

    I may not know everything about my religion but I won’t stop learning while I’m still alive. It will be a good start to read the bible. Everything is said there. Every time I am down, I just read a passage in the bible and it’s as if God is speaking to me. I should really do that more often - down or not.

    I’m also a work-in-progress. My faith still needs to be strengthened. I know that going to mass every Sunday is not enough. Being religious is also not enough. We have to live God’s words everyday. We have to be His living testament coz we are his greatest creations.  Being spiritual is also not enough. For me, it’s about being faithful to God and living life that is according to His will. 

    It’s also about following Jesus’ footsteps. He is the greatest example. He is perfect.  I couldn’t imagine living a life without Him. Though, I have sinned a lot He has always shown His unconditional love for me… I cannot thank Him enough for everything that He has done in my life… I love you Jesus (writing this makes me feel like a child again… i used to say I love you to Jesus when I was younger… indeed we can learn from the children… they are humble and so trusting in the Lord…)
