Author Steve Berry talked a lot about his writing process at Library Headquarters on Saturday night. A small but very loyal audience included one of his biggest fans, his wife. As one of his first and best proofreaders, Mrs. Berry gets a reward whenever she finds a major plot flaw in Berry’s work-in-progress. What’s the reward? “Purses and shoes from Neiman Marcus,” said Berry to the delight of a majority in the audience.
