So, I'm really interested in attending the school and actually moving to the UK permanently (I currently live in the USA and yes I am very serious about this plan), but I'm lost on where to start amidst the different visas and whatnot. I was just wondering if there were any international students on here that you knew of that I could talk to and maybe get some advice on where to start? If not then it's fine, thank you either way!! :)

Hi thiscaseyisclosed!

You should definitely come to the UK, we have Sherlock and Harry Potter and Doctor Who and all sorts of wonderful things. And the main University of Nottingham campus is essentially next door to Wayne Manor (aka Wollaton Hall). Who else can say Batman is their neighbour?

But yes, moving to the UK from the USA entails a lot of planning and isn’t as easy as stepping into a TARDIS. We have a lot of international students here, including plenty from the USA, so there are many many people who can offer you some advice and tips.

We’ve got a page on our website especially for students from the USA thinking of applying. You’ll find some helpful info about visas and such, and also the details of our contact for USA students. Our International Office is on Facebook if you want to say hello.

ATTENTION TUMBLR FRIENDS. If you can give Casey any advice on where to start with all of this please get in touch.
