Buddha Blends: Cool as a Cucumber Kiwi Smoothie
This refreshing and invigorating drink is perfect for boosting your intake of greens for the day whilst having a nice cooling effect on the body. You can feel the goodness in every sip! I like to have it after a dynamic yoga class and I’ve heard it’s great after a surf. Oh, and it takes like, 5 minutes to make. Hooray!
This recipe serves 2.
Appliances you will need:
- Blender (I use a vitamix which is a high speed blender)
Ingredients (I use good local organic produce - if you can, you should too!):
- 1 cucumber chopped
- 4 kiwi fruits peeled and chopped
- 2 handfuls baby spinach
- 1 cup filtered water
- 1 tsp fresh lime juice (optional)
After preparing all of the above:
Place all ingredients in a blender with a good helping of love. Blend on high speed until smooth. Enjoy!
