‘Game Frame’ hits Kickstarter.
Game Frame is a 256 pixel grid of LED lights, which can display images or animations from an SD card. Buttons on top control playback options, and the frame runs off a standard arduino board. It also features an integrated breakout game.
While the demo video on the Kickstarter page looks awesome, I can’t help but think that the $230 pledge required to get one is a bit steep. That being said, the project has already almost tripled its US$15,000 goal and still has 27 days to go, so if you’d like to get your hands on one, get in quick - they ship out in order of payment, starting this June.
