Printable, bendable battery developed.
Researchers at Korea's Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology have made use of nanomaterials to create what they say is the world’s first imprintable and bendable lithium-ion battery.
The technology could speed up the production of smartphones with flexible displays. It also makes the batteries more stable, and less likely to melt or explode than conventional batteries.
