FORD Announces the All-New 2015 F-150 at the State Fair of Texas

The ALL-NEW 2015 FORD F-150  - “Smarter and Lighter”

From nose to tailgate, the 2015 F-150 is an entirely new truck right down to its signature feature – an all-new, fully boxed ladder frame with more high-strength steel than ever to make it stronger yet lighter. 

High-strength, military-grade, aluminum alloys are used throughout the F-150 body. Already used in aerospace, commercial transportation and other industries, make the new truck’s body lighter, stronger and more resistant to dents. Overall, the F-150 is up to 700 pounds lighter, helping the truck tow and haul more, accelerate and stop faster, and operate more efficiently. 

Besides being the “toughest, smartest, most capable and fuel efficient F-150 ever”, there are interior upgrades and “smart features” like 360-degree camera and active park assist.

You name it, this truck has got it. 

Let’s Review: The two big stories here are the high-strength military grade aluminum alloy and the addition of Ford’s automatic park assist previously available on other Ford models now available in combination with class-exclusives driver-assist technologies.
