The Brooklyn Bazaar continues to be one of the city’s best places to see a show. Entry is free and there is plenty to do in between sets– you could play ping pong, video games, or mini-golf, have a drink in the beer garden, buy a snack from one of the various food vendors, or shop for jewelry, clothing, or art, amongst other things.

Saturday, April 12th, the Village Voice and the Seaport Music Festival sponsored a show there, where we were able to photograph Pup, Big Ups, and Crazy Pills. Toronto-based band Pup was celebrating their recent Side One Dummy release and their fans were full of energy and enthusiasm, singing along to every song. Singer Stefan Babcock ended the set by jumping into the crowd, an indication that he was having just as much fun as they were.
