At the start of the very first song of Against Me!’s set, the crowd at Revolution began to jump so much that the floor started to vibrate. The contagious energy didn’t let down for the entire set, as the Gainsville, Florida-based band tore through a mixture of hits spanning their twelve-year career, barely stopping for breaks in between songs. They play amphitheaters and huge festivals all over the world (and they do it well), yet they still feel right at home in a small, sweaty venue like this one in Amityville, NY. The band seemed to be smiling the entire set and ended a great night with vocalist Laura Jane Grace jumping down into the crowd while singing “We Laugh at Danger (and Break All the Rules)”.

Against Me! continues to tour throughout the end of the year, playing all over the U.S., Canada, and Europe.

Singer-songwriter Jenny Owen Youngs and noise rock band Creepoid opened the show.
