Music, Elephants, and Machines
I’ve been super busy with end of semester projects.
Here is one.. It’s a simple drum sequencer. It has one channel so far.
Since I’m super broke I’ve opted to make some Christmas presents.
I’ve been using my CNC mill quite a bit for fabricating circuit boards, so I wanted to do something a little different. It’s an etched lexan light up desk thing that I’m making for my lady friend.
The machine was used for the etching, as well as pocket milling the electronics compartment for the bottom of the base.
Here is how I did the lighting.
And with juice.
First test run.
Still have to do the woodworking and finishing to the base. I think it’s cute and was easy enough.
There are still a ton of projects that I have swimming through my head. Full time academics is stifling the ability to follow through on much of them. Right now my number one focus is to move the CNC machine to school and make it a permanent fixture in the Engineering department. That, and of course finish out the semester with satisfactory marks!
Happy Thanksgiving!
