ABOUT US!
- The Metropolitan Project will consist of four different filmmakers coming together for a film collaborative.
- Most of the projects will take place in Prince George’s county.
- These filmmakers will be challenged with unveiling different stories from different perspectives within the community.
- We want to show our appreciation to the filmmakers for their hard work as well as promote and encourage self promotion. The Metropolitan project will survive alone on people viewing.
- We want our filmmakers to expand in fan base so we will create the platform for filmmakers to stream their community based web series.
- The Themes will be provided to each filmmaker but the script, production and post production development will be solely the filmmakers responsibility.
- The Metropolitan project works on deadline so it is important for ALL filmmakers to submit promptly.Failure to not meet deadlines will be an automatic series cancellation.
- Our goal is to work up to filmmakers being able to receive funds for their own projects. These community based projects will focus on Community issues such as Gentrification, human trafficking and political propaganda and many more story lines.
