I’ve been watching the news articles about the tragic helicopter crash on the South island of New Zealand and it’s made me think.
About 10 years ago Sharon and I were lucky enough to visit New Zealand, driving round both north and south island. It is a beautiful country filled with fantastic scenery and immensely friendly people. While on the south island we took a heli-hike onto the Fox Glacier, hiking round the glacier for a few hours before flying back. It remains one of our best memories of the visit.
