Around Christmas time last year, one of my wonderful coworkers commissioned me to make a piece for his über talented wife, Katie, based on her web comic, Gronk. It was a very fun project to work on, even though I had to pull 3 all-nighters during finals to get it done on time. It is still one of the largest pieces I’ve worked on and the final piece included approximately 70 hand-cut and painted pieces of watercolor paper.
