It took meh all night, but I writed a backstory for my Guild Wars 2 character, Desiree! Dun worries, I wrotes it in normal English. ^^;
I knew that there were a lot of people playing Guild Wars 2 the moment it came out, but that feels like such a giant crowd of people. This was on an overflow server (and the starting spot for one race out of five), and my graphic settings are pretty low, so there were even more people probably standing in those rooms at that time. D:

This is a video wherein I mine a mithril ore in Guild Wars 2.
When you mine an ore node on land in Guild Wars 2, your character actually hods the pickaxe with both hands and mines it by swinging it at the ore lump thingie (and it makes “chink” mining noises), and it feels “real.” For some reason, though, underwater, you hold the pickaxe with one hand and then extend your other hand like you were performing telekinesis or channeling something. And then you hear a windy noise and you get an ore. It’s kinda weird–but fancy! I’m mining… magically! ^^
They’re rebuilding the lion statue! I get the feeling it’s about to get destroyed again though. Maybe a giiant Karka will pop out of it like the Mad King did? It would be kinda funny, but I don’t think it would happen. Probably one would just sit on it and go, “My circle!” ^^;
Ooooh! It’s a new asura gate in Lion’s Arch! I kinda expected they’d just activate a gate where in that part where all the inactive gates are, but I guess someone felt like building an entirely new gate all the way over here. ^^;
Lion’s Arch actually has looters! :o
