I had possibly one of the worst random dungeons I’ve ever experienced tonight. We constantly wiped on almost every pull. I was tanking Utgarde Keep on my level 68 DK in full tank BoAs, so even though I might not be optimum level for the content, I was able to queue for it and with ~12k HP unbuffed I’d say I can handle it with a competent healer.
THE PROBLEM?
People are lazy as fuck. Healers come in to these dungeons expecting the tank to have 2x the HP of the mobs and think they can toss a couple HoTs and go AFK. DPS doesn’t know how to watch their aggro AT ALL. Hey, level 71 warlock, turn your pet’s taunt off and don’t go all out when your little level 68 tank is pulling all her aggro tricks out of the bag and still fighting to keep aggro off you. Watching your aggro is part of your job. Get omen. Do you raid? I hope not, because I bet your tanks hate you.
I’m not going to queue for green BC dungeons. Those give shit XP and aren’t challenging at all. I’m moving on to Northrend because that’s where I get the most experience and it’s the most efficient place for me to dungeon. I am level 68. You will have to actively heal me and pay attention during the dungeon. I’m sorry if that’s not what you want to do, but I’m not expecting to get carried and you shouldn’t be either. Do your job and I will do mine. If you plan to do anything with this toon other than fart around in random dungeons, you will eventually need to use cooldowns and pay attention while playing. Why not start now?
Hey, Disc priest who doesn’t use Penance. Yeah, I’m talking to you. I’m not a bad tank, you are a bad healer. I need better gear? What the fuck do you want me to do? I’m in FULL BOAs. This IS the best gear. Stop refusing to heal people because I *ASKED* you why you are not using the most efficient, signature Disc heal. I didn’t talk shit. I didn’t yell at you. I asked you a question. How the fuck did you make it to level 68 without using THE best heal in the game?
Oh, I see why. You’re from Darkspear, the server filled with douchebags and assholes.
EDIT: I was thinking “man, I wish I still had the meters” and I actually do. So….. here you go:
