15. Your favorite Wrath instance?

It’s a three-way tie between The Occulus, Halls of Reflection and Halls of Stone.

Honestly, I really liked Azjol-Nerub popping up in random dungeon finder. It’s probably the shortest heroic possible, and you can bug out the second boss to pass him up and make your run EVEN FASTER! Back when I was trudging through a pug for my daily frost badges, fast run = less pain in my ass and that’s always a plus. 

I honestly don’t really have an extreme fondness for ANY wrath dungeon.

In all seriousness, though, Halls of Reflection would have been good if it weren’t full of like 10 minutes of RP you HAVE to sit through. Plus, it was the ultimate PUG-killer. I can’t remember the last time I zoned in to that place and at least one person didn’t immediately drop group. It got to the point where I had to bring a guildie to tank for me so I had a guarantee I’d not have to sit and wait for a new tank the second I got on. Halls of Stone? Same problem. Fucking Brann Bronzebeard ruining the run by screwing everything up and making you sit through the awful gauntlet of horrible-ness. And don’t even get me started on The Occulus. Worst. Dungeon. Ever.

Since I used a raid for my vanilla answer, I suppose I could say Ulduar for this one. I looooove Ulduar. The fights are fun, the instance is REALLY interesting and it’s so incredibly well-designed. Ulduar is my favorite zone in the entire game.

25. Who do you play with?

When I first started playing, I only played with my brother and his IRL friends. Didn’t pug, didn’t do anything outside of hang out with the guild.

Then I decided I wanted to try raiding. I pugged, geared up and joined a raiding guild. Became more social, met more people, started playing mostly with people I met via raiding and being in a new guild.

I have some friends I know from outside the game who I talk to on real id, but do not play with. I’m trying to get my IRL friends to be in-game friends, too! Also, a couple of my in-game friends became IRL friends. :)

3. A class you’re awful at playing?

Hard to say since I’m pretty terrible at most classes… I’ve never even attempted to play a warrior or warlock. I can’t get a DK to level 60 because I get bored with them by 59 and just stop leveling. I don’t really understand how to play a DK, tbh. The whole… rune thing just makes no sense to me. I’m fairly shit at prot pally, too, which is probably why my paladin is chilling at level 51 still. :(

Basically I’m good at hunter, fairly good at disc pvp, okay at rogue and… then I have some other toons I sometimes play. 

I’m learning enh shaman right now… hopefully I’m not completely awful at shamaning. D:

17. Your favorite WoW-related YouTube video?

There are so many and I frequently post them on here as I see them. But I think my favorite is probably the Onyxia wipe video. Yes, it’s cliche. Yes, it’s everyone’s favorite. But my god. It’s so fucking funny. I still rofl and lmao and lol every time i see it.

I am a week behind because of Firelands, so I’m going to cheat a bit to catch up and do 3 answers for a couple of days till I’m caught up :-[

21. Your favorite battleground?

Such a hard question to answer. I love so many things about so many of the BGs.

Warsong Gulch has a soft spot because it was my first BG. I didn’t PvP much till I dinged 80 and even then I didn’t really know what I was doing, but “capture the flag” is a concept that even people who have NEVER PvPed before can understand.

I love Alterac Valley. Used to hate it, but now I *love* it. It requires legit strategy to win most times, though a skilled team can turtle up and win on resources if they kill enough people. Also, when you’re leveling, AV weekend = 20 levels for free. Each win is at LEAST half a level.

If the new ones, I have to say I *love* The Battle for Gilneas. At first I was kind of like “ew, bad AB ripoff” but it’s actually a LOT of fun. In a partial-premade guild group, we can easily 3-cap 90% of the time.

I have something I like about basically every BG except Isle of Conquest. I pretty much hate that fuckin place all around.

13. Your favorite Burning Crusade instance?

Obviously my answer is Heroic Magister’s Terrace. Because you get a chance to win a HAWKSTRIDER! I actually have KT’s speech memorized from being in there so damn much farming that mount on my hunter T_T

23. The longest you’ve gone without playing?

8 ½ months

When I first started playing, I tended to play for 2-3 months then quit for 2-3 months because I had a lot going on with school. I quit cold turkey my last year of school because I *NEEDED* to concentrate on classes and didn’t have time to play at all. I missed the game for a week or so then just forgot about it. I got school under control and wanted to start playing again my final quarter because I needed something to do with my time since my portfolio was basically done… so I started playing again in April of 2010. This is the longest I’ve gone without stopping since I started playing. Since I came back to the game in April, the longest I’ve gone without playing has only been like 5-6 days cuz I went out of town.

I figure the next time I quit, it’s for good. I’m too far along with progression/gear to take an extended break and then come back and grind it all out again. :P
