The Best of Toyama: Kōgei Art and Design from Japan

Along with NYNOW, you have a chance to see our items in NYC!

We are going to join an exhibition featuring “Toyama products” in NY this month.

The exhibition is to be held at Onishi Gallery in NYC which focuses on contemporary Japanese artists including ceramics, glass, metalwork, and calligraphy. Last year the gallery started cross-cultural programme, called “My Japanese Discoveries”. The aim is to introduce creative and historic traditions of lesser-known prefectures in Japan.

This is second collaboration with Toyama-ken for the gallery. Supported by the Japanese government, the first exhibition was concluded with great success last year. This year NAGAE is also going to join the show with the other artisans and companies from Toyama.
