Kabuto at ArtSceince Museum – Marina Bay Sands
If you have ever visited in Singapore, you must have stopped by Marina Bay Sands. Since it was opened in 2010, the hotel has become the unofficial icon of Singapore. Even you have never been to Singapore, you might have seen a gorgeous building that looks like a huge deck of a cruise ship supported by three tall towers. Yes, it is the Marina Bay Sands!

The integrated resort includes a hotel, a convention centre, a huge shopping mall, two large theatres, an indoor ice skating rink, the world’s largest casino, and a museum.
ArtScience Museum is one of the attractions at Marina Bay Sands. The concept of this museum is to celebrate creativity, the processes at the heart of art and science, and their role in shaping society. Since it opened in 2011, the museum has been home to some of the best-attended exhibitions in Singapore, including “Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition”, “Harry Potter: The Exhibition”, “Andy Warhol: 15 Minutes Eternal”, and “Dali: Mind of a Genius”.
This time we are honoured to inform you that our samurai helmets, kabuto, are sold at the museum shop.
Our Kabuto collection presents helmets made for high-ranking warriors and daimyo (provincial governors) of the 13th through 17th centuries. All our Kabuto are the fruit of technologies and techniques that have been accumulated for over 400 years in our city, Takaoka. Principal parts of helmets are made of zinc-based alloy, which adds certain grace and dignity to the helmets. The craftsmanship is captured the attention of the museum.
As we have never sold our kabuto in Singapore, we are excited to hear the feedback from customers at the shop.
When you are in Singapore, please drop by the museum and check out our kabuto!
