Investment executive Assan Faal specializes in raising capital and in mergers and acquisitions. Currently an advisor for Edward Jones and the National Securities Corporation, Mr. Faal is registered as a Government Securities Broker and as a Broker-Dealer. He routinely works with individuals, companies, and government entities with diverse financial transactions. Faal provides counsel on financial matters involving strategies, negotiations, and market research. Familiar with all aspects of investing, Faal possesses extensive knowledge of bonds, securities, stocks, and real estate. He stays current with financial news and monitors his clients' investment portfolios to ensure that their investment needs are being met.
Currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Finance and Business, Assan Faal attends the University of Chicago. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan in 2000 and earned his Series 66 and Series 7 certifications. He holds memberships in several professional organizations, including the Banking Executives Summit Counsel and African Global Market Initiatives.
Outside of work, Mr. Faal involves himself with various charitable organizations. He supports Pan African unification, women and children's rights in Africa, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. At the local level, Faal performs community service through Chicago Progressive Thinkers.
