I don’t see it as being brave, but more like going after the things I want.
I have the time now with no one to keep in mind.

Going alone was also a conscious choice, because I didn’t want to be held back by someone.

everyone said I was crazy to travel by myself too but ive been doing it for so long that I know what to look out for after a while. And yes when you travel with someone sometimes someone, including yourself, can become a hassle.
I traveled to Canada by myself twice and I loved it both times. Making new friends both times I went and enjoying myself. I traveled to other states by myself to the extent where I know how other cities operate.

So I say travel and fuck everyone and everything that gets in your way. If anything I know how other states are but in your case you know how other countries operate.
