:: The creative fruits of the hacker ethos :: Film director Andrew Gant and DOP Nathan Wilson use an XBox Kinect to conjure visuals for the music video “Tokyo” by the band Exist Elsewhere.
The sequence above goes behind the scenes to examine the process of turning gaming technology into an art making tool. This is a nice summation of the process of not only the creation of some of the visuals but also how the Kinect has emerged as a viable motion capture device for film makers.
