Bon festival, a traditional Japanese event to welcome the spirits of ancestors, started in Tokyo from 13th July🗼🇯🇵 Some Japanese make a horse out of a cucumber during Bon festival. We call this horse “Shoryo-uma” and decorate our alter using this horse. It is believed that this horse helps the spirits of the dead to return their home quickly🏇👻💨
