Comixology is now offering backups in PDF or CBZ format for certain purchases

It is only for publishers that already offered at this time, but it is a definite step in the right direction on Comixology’s part.

So the only thing holding you back from getting HD backups of your Marvel and DC digital purchases, is now those companies. I am going to let them know it is important to me. Will you?

  7. nmrosario said: I meant the iPod software, not iTunes, my bad. I was using the Marvel app on my iPod Touch and it deleted itself, along with all my comics, when I downloaded the software update.
  8. nmrosario said: I bought several digital comics from Marvel years ago, but they all vanished once I upgraded to the newer version of iTunes. So… never again. Unless they switch to a buy-it-once-own-it-forever model for digital comics, I’ll stick to printed copies.
