At first, I was going to go really simple. Girl in a hoodie, cartoonish features slightly stretched, transparent shading aplenty with the hoodie and the background. Then I remembered a line from the ‘Feat of Clay’ episode of Batman: The Animated series. Hagen (now as Clayface) is testing out his new-found shapeshifting ability when his buddy breaks his concentration. He says it’s like tensing a muscle. So I used a bit of that in drawing this girl up.

Seems right to me to think she’d be a puddle naturally and looking like a person would take a bit of trying. So she’s testing things out, shifting her mass around and getting into a more person-type shape. = )
