I had an old Monster Girl idea sitting around since last year (almost to the day, actually). Seeing as I had a couple of sketches in my sketchbook and a digital blue line sketch, I figured I’d go for it. It was only after I had finished this that realized I left out a rather important detail.

This is loosely based on the legend of the Astomi - an ancient Hindu race of mouthless people who survive completely off of pleasant scents. They are also described as having rough and hairy bodies. Kinda’ missed the mark on that aspect But I did enjoy figuring out how the face would look as they have no mouths yet survive off of scents alone.

It may not be as spot-on as I’d normally like them to be but was fun to do, nonetheless. = )
