Just updated my Facebook app and tried to check out their new ‘Places’ feature as I don’t quite understand how it’s going to work (especially how it integrates with other location apps). I also tried touch.facebook.com, but unfortunately it’s not available in my area. The press release says the rollout was to US locations only, but I guess DC isn’t a large enough market yet? I’m guessing the rollout is based in the Bay Area and NYC.
