WHO'S THIS "ME"?
I am Lynn. I'm an urban planner by training, and a maker of random items by vocational calling. I do my projects in my apartment in Brooklyn, or on the stoop or roof. If you see a 5' 3 7/8" female breaking concrete blocks out on your street, you probably live on my block.

Kissing cups…$7
I’ve done a good deal of these ceramic paint-dipped things. See past post here. Found these oddly shaped cups that I love. Make nice wedding gifts.
You need:
- Ceramic cups
- Ceramic paint
- Oven
- Plastic bowl for dipping and dripping
Want to see the steps?
Costs = <$7:
- Ceramic paint (Pebeo Porcelaine 150 paint in Abyss Black) = $6.29
- Everything else = free or already available around the house
How to:
- Not rocket science. Just dip as evenly as possible and let it drip.
- I think I had the best success with even-ness of the dip when I worked hard to shake off more drip right off the bet than I thought was viscously possible.
- Then it’s just a matter of holding onto it and rotating it so you don’t get any weird drifts
- Let dry 24 hours.
- Follow paint instructions (35 min at 350 degrees).
