clicheperfection I started a gofundme (http://gofundme.com/MattSurgery) with an estimation of 20,000 dollars, not knowing how much the surgery would cost because I was told to put it up after this video blew up on Unworthy.
It hit that goal in 5 hours.
It’s been 4 days and I’m up to 52,000 right now in donations, and it’s mind blowing. I’m not sure how much the surgery will be yet, I’m getting help looking into a surgeon currently, and I’ll need to keep a little so I don’t go bankrupt when I can’t work for a month or so, but with the extra money I want to help put it back into the community that gave to me.
I’m hoping to start something soon, a blog, a website, a youtube series, something, that highlights a different donation page/charity/gofundme every week or so for health/surgery related issues. I’ll donate a little from the extra (depending how much there is obi) and highlight it to the thousands and thousands of people currently following my social media channels so they’re more likely to donate.
People did an amazing thing for me in the past week. I want to help.
