This past weekend was the final curtain for Cornerstone Music Festival…

Above is a video I sleepily shot with a crappy point-and-shoot on the way home from Bushnell back in 2007. It was the last time I would ever make the 16hr drive home, but I didn’t know that at the time. I could’ve edited the video, cleaned it up, added clearer audio and at least adjusted the tilt…but I think it’s fitting to leave it the way it is.
That’s what Cstone was for me; a place where I could be myself, let down all guards, and not care for one week. This grainy video is a great representation of what the festival meant to me. With everything going on in life, there’s always time to stop and admire what God has given you…

On Saturday night my friend Tyler (from the band Kiros) posted these fitting words;
“Somewhere in the cornfields of central Illinois, an unfortunately final note is being sung…”

To commemorate the event I pooled together my favorite pictures of past years and created a photoalbum on Facebook [here]
I’ll be adding more as I find them. You can also checkout videos I shot of bands performances on my YouTube channel [here]
