Sad I missed this at the Park Avenue Armory. Apparently Stockhausen felt the ideal location for the piece’s performance was in outer space. However it appears they did a pretty beautiful job making an immersive environment for the 70 minute drone/sound piece. All participants were asked to take off their shoes and dawn white cloaks for the performance.
