The weekend was terrific, great weather! Saturday we started off the day early with customary lattes at our local coffee shop. The kids insist on getting their own milks, they give C a few pumps of vanilla to make her feel special! We decided to take in the day walk around the city popping in and out of shops along our route to the park.
Noah needed some new sandals so we stopped at Nordstrom. Is it just me or are boys sandal options terrible? Either flip flops or mountain climbing-esque footwear? We settled on a pair from See Kai Run, picked up some balloons and set off on our merry way to the park. Noah is a little stuntman. He shrieks with delight zipping down the slides, climbs the ladders with ease and has us usually sprinting after him. Obviously, he took a great nap after burning loads of energy, and I also took a much needed nap since i’m struggling with a head cold & allergies.
This morning we set off early and spent the day checking out our prospective neighbourhood. We saw a few places, stopped for lunch at what is sure to be our local fave, caught up with a good friend and her family and stopped at a super cute kids hair salon. It was a great day, until Charlotte complained of a sore tummy, and as we were walking into Walgreen’s, she threw up, everywhere. Fortunately we made it home in the knick of time for her to get sick another two times. I feel so bad for her, but am praying we don’t get sick too!
