It’s not everyday that you hear a politician telling people from a particular group to vote for someone else but that is exactly what Newt Gingrich did the other day.

John McCain must be smoking crack. He claims that Obama is responsible for Orlando when in reality it is his party, the Republican party, that has been hitting it home time after time after time just how horrible LGBTQ people are. He is the one who thinks we don’t deserve the same rights as everyone else. He and his party are the ones who voted to allow businesses to fire us from being gay just days after the shooting. He and his party are the ones who have killed gun control legislation that could have prevented the shooter from obtaining the weapons he used.
He and his party have Queer blood on their hands. Make no mistake, they are the ones who have perpetuated a culture of homophobia. They are far more guilty than a man who openly supports same-sex marriage, who brought about the end of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell and DOMA. A man who has advocated for LGBTQ rights throughout his presidency, something the Republicans have done the opposite of.
How dare this man. He knows nothing. He is a homophobe. He is just as guilty as the person who attacked the Pulse nightclub. The difference is he and the Republicans have been attacking the Queer community for decades and on a much larger scale. How DARE you sir.
WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama on Tuesday announced his delegates to the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia. And, in what may be a thumb in the eye to Russian President Vladimir Putin over his crackdown on gay rights, two of Obama’s delegates are openly gay.
Rightfully so! Well done Obama, let’s see what horrible things Trump has to say about this now.
