I’ve worked with Solenn Heussaff a couple of times. One was when I was working with a magazine and we invited her to be part of our “Young Achievers” special feature. At the time, she just came back from honing her painting, makeup artistry and fashion designing skills in Paris. Then, we worked together when I was a producer for the fashion-transformation TV show “Fashbook,” which she hosts. By the time our pilot aired, the stunning French-Filipina was already being touted as one of today’s “It” girls.

If I were to style Solenn for “Fashion Face-off,” I’d want to see her in an outfit that we don’t usually see her in. I’ve witnessed how her style has evolved through the years, from more casual and laidback to glamorous and red-carpet sexy. She has rocked many a bustier tops and maxi skirts, but in full makeup and perfectly coiffed hair. This time, let’s showcase her French roots by dressing her in Parisian street style: no makeup save for lip gloss, un-styled hair, just the right amount of skin and accessories, big bright sunnies, socks in shoes. Solenn is Solenn—I’m sure she would look très chic.
