Walk of the town

An easy-breezy outfit for traveling or weekend walking. I really love to take walks, especially around this time of year when the days are shorter and the air is a bit colder (or at least that’s what I’d like to hope). If we only had the same weather as San Diego or San Francisco, I don’t think I’d ever ride or drive to anywhere!
I’ve finally found a new favorite top! You see, I love how comfy and easy to wear these loose knit tops are, but they’re either too short, too long, or too loose for me. This one from 101 New York is nice and short at the front and falls at the exact place where I usually cut my long tops to fall, plus longer and flowy at the back. Just cute!
It’s also a practical piece for traveling since it works as a top and as a cover-up. My other traveling must-haves? Shorts, a carry-all, sunnies, a hat and comfy footwear!
Your hair’s bound to have its bad days when you’re on the go, and there’s nothing like a cute hat not only to keep it in place or hide its hideousness if that be the case, but also and more importantly, to protect yourself from from the elements.
It’s tote-tally important as well to have a carry-all you can stash in the items you can’t leave home without. Make sure it’s got lots of zippers and compartments and that you know which one to fish out which item from!
Above all, make sure your footwear can take you wherever you wanna go. I’m really loving these Lunargrand Wingtips from Cole Haan—it was attraction at first sight and love at first slip on! You know you’ve got good shoes when you can honestly attest that you feel like you’re walking barefoot in them, and that’s undoubtedly the case with this pair.
