30 Days of Sketches: Day 23
    Wetterhorn Reverse

    15 minutes, sketchbook, fine-point uni-ball Vision Needle.

The Wetterhorn (3,692 m) is a mountain in the Swiss Alps close to the village of Grindelwald. First climbed Aug. 28, 1844, by Stanhope T. Speer. The 1854 ascent by Alfred Wills and party is more celebrated and is generally regarded to have marked the beginning of the golden age of alpinism.

How i ended up drawing the Wetterhorn in reverse: I did a Google image search for “mountain,” and i saw this low-res desktop background that looked kind of nice. There was no information about the image, but after having finished the sketch, i did a reverse image search, and found a bunch of photos that looked almost exactly the same, but reversed! Oh well, c'est la vie.
