Hello guys and girls,

Just a short note to let you good people know that due to some recently arisen personal/family issues, I have had to seriously consider my ability to continue Ritual going forward, and after much thought, I have had to decide that Saturday, June 8 will be the final day of trading for the store. The stock will be going to a good home (I just need to work out where that is yet) but in the meantime, if you want to drink a coffee, pat the beagle, have a chat or better yet, pick up a record and help make a dent in the considerable amount of debt I have accumulated running this place, then you have a few days left to do it.

Consignment folks, email jackson@ritualmusic.com.au and we’ll work it all out; and (considering this is probably the extent of the eulogy this place will get because we were always mysteriously absent from any Australian music publication, physical or otherwise) if you could pass this on to friends/relevant people that would be great.

To the supporters, I can’t adequately express how much your support meant to me, I’ve made a lot of great friends and met a lot of great people doing this, so let’s just hug it out when I see you next.
